Are you looking to clock in some more volunteer hours? A mission to continually help the Cy-Fair Independent School District (CFISD) is one that can be supported by Houstonians from every suburb!
This October, the 14th annual Judy Dierker Holiday Market will gather vendors from the Houston area to help raise proceeds for Cy-Hope, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for at-risk students in the Cypress, Texas, area. With the CFISD compromising the third-largest district in Texas, boasting 84 campuses, Cy-Hope works to provide extra-curricular and mentor programs for students to keep them engaged in the art of learning.
Volunteer opportunities are currently available during Cy-Hope’s planning phase. Potential candidates can sign up on their site for positions in administrative (check-in, silent auction staff, cashier), maintenance (set-up, strike), crafting, and baking.
The Judy Dierker Holiday Market, taking place on both October 17th and 18th from 9am to 4pm at Foundry Church, will feature handmade items, baked goods, clothes, toys, and much more. If you find that you can’t volunteer, drop by this free event next month in support of our community!
