What better way to start off your morning than by being a part of a passionate event that helps millions of mothers and their new babies live healthy lives? Join the March for Babies Walk 2014 on April 27th, for a fun day in the sun, and meet other people who are striving to see all babies make it to a healthy full term.
March for Babies is a special part of the March of Dimes non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the health of babies by averting birth defects, infant mortality, as well as premature birth. It was founded in 1938 by former President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who had polio. His personal struggle inspired his vision to see that all babies could come into the world as healthy as possible.
Bring your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and everyone you know to assist with raising awareness, money, and lend a help hand by volunteering. You can help by joining other teams or starting your own team to collect donations from your local community. Every volunteer, walker, and donation makes a difference to help save many babies’ lives.
The March for Babies 2014 will be held at the University of Houston on Sunday, April 27, 2014 with registration beginning at 8am. For further information about the event and to register please visit the link below!
