Have a green thumb and love helping your community? Urban Harvest is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the importance of healthy nutrition through community gardens, farmer’s markets, and education.
The organization has over 80 community gardens across Houston, hosts the Eastside farmer’s market, provides more than 100 classes a year on a variety of different nutrition and gardening interests, and teaches hands-on gardening for students and their teachers.
