Just in time for Father’s Day, Dove has released emotional campaign for their Men Care line, celebrating the real role of Dads everywhere. The digital campaign gives Dad’s well-deserved credit for all that they do including making dinner, potty training, scaring away monsters from under the bed, and soothing broken-hearted teens.
Ad Week brought to our attention just how realistic the beautiful visual of Dads being involved in the lives of their children is. Based on real data from interviewing 1,000 Dads between the ages of 25-54, Dove learned that 75% of Dads feel responsible for the emotional well-being of their children. However, the Dads they were also felt that only 20% of their parenting is accurately displayed in the media.
The campaign is sure to be a hit as it takes Dads out of the role of coaching football and being a disciplinarian, appreciating the overlooked role of Dads as caregivers. What do you think of the positive message that the Dove is sharing with the world this Father’s Day season?
