Support prostate cancer awareness this upcoming Father’s Day weekend at the Dad’s Day 5K in Downtown Houston. The event takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2015 starting and finishing under the Wortham Theatre Arch near the Downtown Aquarium.
This wonderful event is hosted by Tex Us Too, which is the Texas chapter of the largest prostate cancer support group started by cancer survivors. The Dad’s Day 5K benefits prostate cancer education, research, and awareness, such as a promoting free prostate cancer screenings.
The Dad’s Day 5k invites prostate cancer survivors, their families and friends to come enjoy a great day filled with love and support for every person battling prostate cancer. Create a team of support, or simply spend some one-on-one quality time with your father. They’ll also be a 3K and 1K, whether you run or walk, you can enjoy the race at your own pace.
