Random acts of kindness are sweeping the nation with the emergence of a Twitter account that hides envelopes with surprise cash inside. Houston CultureMap has informed us that Houston is the next city in line for the hidden cash craze, and followers of the account are anxious for the scavenger hunt this weekend.
It all started about two weeks ago when a real estate agent from San Francisco made a Twitter account @hiddencash and began hiding money around the city for lucky people to find. The account posts hints throughout the day along with a vague picture of the envelope, which can contain up to $200 inside.
The person behind the account has decided to remain anonymous and focus on what’s important, which is spreading random acts of kindness. He or she hopes their deed can influence others to give back to their community.
The generous donator behind the account wants Houstonians to learn from this and suggests supporting others in the city by donating blood, bringing gifts to cancer patients at M.D. Anderson, or any kind act.
This fun and inspirational event will take place this weekend so make sure to follow the account Twitter @HoustonHiddenGifts to get all of the clues to find the surprise. Are going to try your hand at winning some free cash this weekend?
